Upon arrival at the Quito airport, your guide will be waiting to welcome you and assist you with your luggage. From there, we will begin our journey north to the charming city of Otavalo.
The journey is the perfect introduction to our geography: a landscape of imposing mountains and deep valleys. By choosing Otavalo as our first destination, we prioritize a restful break at a friendly altitude, allowing your body to adapt to the rhythm of the mountain naturally.
Depending on your flight schedule, we will enjoy a welcome dinner with local products, marking the beginning of this cultural and sensory immersion.

We will start the day in the heart of the Kichwa culture: the Otavalo market. More than just a shopping site, it is a meeting place where colorful fabrics tell stories of centuries. You will have time to stroll and admire the local art at your own pace.
For lunch, we will live a high-value experience: a traditional cooking class. It is an opportunity to explore the local gastronomy and learn about the ingredients that are born from this land.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Cuicocha Lagoon, where we will take a gentle hike surrounded by pure nature. The view of the volcanic crater and the fresh air of the Andes are the perfect complement to close this day.

Today we will leave Otavalo to begin our journey south. Our first stop will be a rose plantation. Here we will discover why these flowers are considered the finest in the world and learn about this important symbol of Ecuadorian identity.
The day will continue in the emblematic site of the Middle of the World. At the Inti Ñan museum, we will live interactive and playful experiences that will allow us to feel the unique energy of being exactly on the equatorial line, challenging the laws of physics in a fun way.
In the late afternoon we will arrive in Mindo. Its temperate climate and lower altitude make it the perfect place for a restful break.

Today you will explore Mindo, a place famous for its biodiversity and pleasant climate despite being in the Andes. This day is dedicated to observing the small details of nature: the flight of hummingbirds, colorful butterflies, and the waterfalls that surround the town.
This region produces one of the best cocoas in the world and, as part of this experience, we will visit a chocolate farm. There you will learn about the artisanal process behind the fine aroma cocoa and you can taste the best of its production. It is a day designed to relax and enjoy the pure air at a leisurely pace.

Today we changed the scenery to visit the vibrant capital of Ecuador: Quito. We will tour its Historic Center, recognized as one of the best preserved in South America, strolling through its colonial streets, discovering its churches and squares full of life. It is an opportunity to connect with the colonial past in the heart of the city.
After lunch, we will take the Pan-American highway south, bound for Cotopaxi National Park. The imposing Cotopaxi volcano will accompany us in the landscape as we arrive at a traditional hacienda in the area. There, a cozy stay awaits us, ideal for enjoying Andean hospitality and the rest that the countryside offers.

This day we will dedicate to exploring the natural environment of the Cotopaxi volcano. We will visit the Limpiopungo Lagoon, where we will take a walk on flat terrain. It is the perfect place to observe Andean birds and enjoy the flora of the moor with the volcano as a backdrop.
If conditions permit and your physical condition in the face of altitude is optimal, you can take an optional hike to the first refuge, at 4800 meters, to feel the majesty of the glacier up close.

We will continue our journey through the mountain range towards Quilotoa, the emerald of the Andes. It is an impressive turquoise lagoon that formed in the crater of a volcano.
After admiring this unique landscape, we will make a stop to meet the local artisans of Tigua. Their paintings on sheep leather capture the essence and myths of the Andes.
Our last stop will be the city of Baños, located in a valley of lower altitude. Upon arrival, you will immediately notice a warmer and very pleasant climate.

Today we will explore the energy of nature in the surroundings of Baños. We will travel the famous Route of the Waterfalls, where the mystical Pailón del Diablo stands out, an impressive waterfall surrounded by lush vegetation.
In the afternoon, the focus will be on rest. You can enjoy the famous medicinal hot springs of the city or simply stroll through its lively streets. It is a day designed to revitalize the body and enjoy the charm of the city.
